Eagle Bend Excursion (full-day trip)

Paddle a canoe out on the Mississippi River! We’ll meet at Credit Island and start our trip downriver.

This is a full-day adventure! Lunch is included. We’ll end our day at the Fairport State Recreation Area, where the Eagle Bend vehicle will be waiting to shuttle us back to your vehicle at Credit Island.

Island Loop

$45 per person, $70 per canoe (two people – a third person in the canoe is an additional $25, or $95 total)

Paddle a canoe out on the Mississippi River! We’ll meet at Credit Island and head downriver.

We’ll travel all the way around Credit Island and end up in the backwaters. The final 30 minutes will be on your own, a chance to relax and try out some new paddling skills!

Please bring a bottle of water and any desired sun protection. All other gear (canoe, paddle, personal flotation device) is provided.

River Bandit Route

Trip from downtown Davenport to Credit Island. Meet at Credit Island. Typically runs Tuesday and Thursday evening and Saturday morning.

$35 per person, $50 per canoe

Paddle a canoe out on the Mississippi River! We’ll meet at Credit Island and shuttle (in the Eagle Bend vehicle) to LeClaire Park in Downtown Davenport. There, we’ll start our trip downriver.

Please bring a bottle of water and any desired sun protection. All other gear (canoe, paddle, personal flotation device) is provided.

NOTE: This trip can be paired with the Credit Island Loop Saturday mornings.

Flatwater Float

Buese Boat Ramp, west of Credit Island

$25 USD

Calm backwater experience starting and ending at the Buese Boat Ramp in the backwaters of Credit Island. Typically runs on Mondays.

$25 per person, $40 per canoe

This is great option for beginners or those not quite ready to go out on the main channel of the Mississippi! We’ll work on some strokes in calm, shallow waters. We’ll start and end at the Buese Boat Ramp in the backwaters of Credit Island.
